Facing west at a height of 250 metres on calcareous-clayey soil, this vineyard is more than 50 years old and one of the oldest on the estate. The vines grow Nebbiolo grapes for the making of Barbaresco wine, with well-defined tannins resulting in part from a soil which is renowned for producing well-structured, elegant wines in which finesse takes priority over power.
Our highly-prized Barbaresco DOCG is made from the grapes grown on this plot.
