Barbaresco DOCG Riserva Nervo Vigna Giaia

Barbaresco DOCG Riserva Nervo Vigna Giaia - Piazzo

Vigna Giaia is a patch of yellow on the hillside below the village of Treiso.

In autumn, its leaves are the first to turn this colour, known in Piedmontese as “giai”, distinguishing this plot within the Nervo cru, renowned for the austere, ageing wine produced here.

It represents the most traditional Barbaresco, fulfilling the expectations of those who seek structure, complexity, concentration and longevity in a wine. We select the grapes for our Barbaresco Riserva from the finest vintages and from our oldest vines. This wine won’t be ready for at least five years, and it is a wine that stands the test of time, expressing itself in keeping with tradition.
