Dolcetto d’Alba DOC Buran

It was 1995 when Armando, who was still convalescing after surgery, said: “We mustn’t let that farmhouse get away!”.
He was referring to Cascina Buran, not far from the winery, so named because it had belonged to a fruit merchant called Signor Borrano.
This is a straightforward Dolcetto, perfect for serving with everyday meals, yet it remains the quintessential wine of the Langhe’s rural heritage. Nebbiolo, Barbaresco and Barolo were the wines for celebrations. This was the everyday companion.
Contrary to popular belief, with the right storage conditions, it is a wine that can also age for a few years.
